Building vegetable tunnels in Nepal

Vegetables Go to School Nepal has started to make tunnels for vegetable gardening. Tunnels were prepared at five schools in Dolakha and four schools in Ramechap. The tunnels are made using locally available material like bamboo. Teachers, students and people from the local community participated in building the tunnels.

A successful TOT training was held on 3-5 June 2014 in Batang, Indonesia. More than 50 participants attended the first day of training along with representatives from the Batang Agency for Food Security, representatives from the Agency for Food Security Central Java Province, and representatives from the Agency for Food Security.
